You may be asked for your password if you want to do something that needs an extra security check (e.g. balance transfer) or if you forget your passcode (which you use to access the app, if you don’t have face or fingerprint recognition). Your password will be at least 8 characters chosen from 3 or more of these categories: numbers, upper case letters, lower case letters and special characters.
Passcodes and passwords should be something that only you know. You need to keep them secret for security. You shouldn't share, store or write them down in a way that is obvious to others.
Passcodes should not contain repeating / consecutive numbers and should not be your date of birth. For example, you cannot use 1-1-1-1-1-1 or 1-2-3-4-5-6 or 5-5-8-4-6-1 (due to the repeating 5’s).
Passwords should not include the following symbols ‘# / & ! +’ however should contain at least one capital letter, lower case letter and number.
