If you cancel your Direct Debit and don't tell us, we'll still try to claim the payment. If your Direct Debit is returned unpaid and/or you fail to make the minimum payment required you may incur a late and/or a returned payment fee.
You won't incur a late payment fee if a manual payment was made to cover the minimum payment on or before the payment due date.
If the Direct Debit was returned unpaid due to Virgin Money no longer having permission to take the funds (this happens when a Direct Debit is cancelled via your bank and Virgin Money is unaware of the cancellation), a returned or unpaid item fee may be charged.
Remember, you need to make at least the minimum payment, on time, every month or you will lose any promotional rates on your account.
